Kerrie started Babybe in 2014 to offer parents-to-be a more personalised experience in their antenatal education. Kerrie has developed a 360 approach to labour, birth and parenting preparation that ensures that mums and dads-to-be are empowered and excited for their transition to parenthood. Kerrie's passion for promoting wellbeing in pregnancy and beyond is evident through her charismatic teaching style. Kerrie is a practicing midwife in Auckland and has over a decade of experience in helping mums and dads understand and enjoy pregnancy, birth and life with a new baby.
Kerrie lives with her husband Barry in Auckland and is originally from Ireland.
Bea is a midwife, antenatal educator and mother. Bea became a midwife to be part of an intense and beautiful time in families lives . She love connecting with people and is passionate about helping families make choice that are right for them around pregnancy, childbirth and when baby arrives. Bea is originally from Switzerland and speaks German and French. She have been living and working in Aotearoa New Zealand for the last 8 years. Bea predominantly runs the Bump Class in Westmere.
Gerry has been a Registered Nurse, Registered Midwife, Registered Health Visitor and is currently working as a Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in Private Practice and does clinic and home consults. Gerry’s health career spans 3 decades and has been a LC for 19 years.
Gerry runs the breastfeeding class on both the Bump class and Weekender. Outside of antenatal classes Gerry specialises in complicated difficult latching and poor milk supplies. Gerry has a wide range of experiences and skills and is trained to assess tongue restrictions. She also specialises in the management of engorgement and mastitis. Gerry has a real passion for supporting breastfeeding women and works hard to walk alongside mothers and their whanau to reach their breastfeeding goals.
Gerry is married to Jonathan and has two children that she breastfed for a total of 7 years!
